So now that we’ve established my love for cheap/free stuff. Let’s get into the review. Last year I tried out Worthy Book’s Ladies Edition ’14-’15 (read about it here). This year, Worthy Book is back at again with their ’16 – ’17 Ladies Edition filled with lots of discounts and freebies from various stores you can find all throughout Malaysia (just how I like it).
So, what can you expect from this year’s edition? Here’s a snippet of what you can find based on their table of contents.
This year I decided that instead of buying something, I wanted to experience something. So, I opted for a massage. Within the book, there’s many different spas offering great deals for massages/mani-pedi/facials/etc.
If you ask me how I made the decision to go with Dr. Nano Labcel, I’m going to tell you up front that it was a random choice, but a very happy one indeed.
The Experience:
As soon as I decided to go with Dr. Nano Labcel, I made a phone call to them and scheduled in an appointment. I opted for the Da:Men USJ Outlet in Subang because I was in that area for the day (check out their other locations here). The offer I chose was a Buy 1 Free 1 (1 hour) massage at RM68 (GST included).
Look, I am a sucker for good customer service because apparently in Malaysia it’s one of those rare things you encounter. Let me tell you something about great customer service, this place has the best staff in terms of that. From the simple phone call inquiring about their services + how the coupon works, to the front desk reminding me about the appointment, to the consultants and masseuse, literally everyone was amazing. Superb customer service, I can’t recommend them enough.
For RM25, Worthy Book is filled with a ton of hidden gems throughout the pages. If you want to treat yourself at affordable prices, “gurl pls, don’t waste yo’ time. just get the damn book already.”
